Location: Rosedale, site visits across Auckland
Hours: Monday to Friday with flexible start/finish
Pay: $80-110,000K plus vehicle
The Company:
Our client is a family-owned NZ business who has been successful in the construction industry since 2005. They design, engineer, manufacture, install fixed sunshade louvres, operable louvre roofs and a number of other products that have been developed overtime to meet client demand and are well known in the industry for making houses look amazing!
The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will manage projects from the time it was secured until completion. This includes coordinating site shop drawings, purchase of materials, fabrication, and installation of the product. Be the go-to person for everything involving the projects assigned to you.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, to scope and within budget
  • Managing client expectations and being the face of the business
  • Ensure all projects are installed in compliance with the NZ building code
  • Complete basic shop drawings for fabrication and install
  • Delegate tasks to fabrication and install teams
  • Ensure all projects meet the required quality standards
  • Advise finance team on jobs ready for invoicing and progress claims 
About You:
Ideally, you would have good building knowledge, management and interpersonal skills as the client base is varied. Cost management understanding, keen to go to sites, do measurements, draft drawings, ordering materials and resources.
  • Experience in a construction management role
  • Strong communication skills internally, externally and to sub-contractors
  • Effective delegation skills
  • CAD drawing skills is preferred but not essential
  • Be organized - ability to manage several projects at once
